My reading comprehension is fine.

Thanks.

REPEATEDLY posting a misquote and ignoring any clarifications certainly doesn't make your reading comprehension better. It is petty and sad.

I've got $10,000 that says it wasn't a misquote.
Wanna play?

That was your quote in your post at the time.
And yet you cant admit it.

It is petty and sad.
And it's WRONG.

Trying to bet $10,000 about an online forum post is petty and sad. He definitely clarified his meaning to you multiple times after.

It's pretty even. I've had my share of time outs and posts removed. It does seem like the left resorts to personal attacks here more than the right does though.

Just like how you called me a racist in your post above.

If you are with the people, you don't need academics to tell you the visible truth. Real-world knowledge, visible truth. Latinos have dominated certain possibly good-paying blue collar trades like truck driving, trash services, cabinet installing, various construction trades, etc. Unlicensed general contractors can charge what GC charge. Certain occupations may vary by geography. Not to mention dominating the restaurant industry.

The Proof:

"More than 3.4 million undocumented immigrants are homeowners, according to the Migration Policy Institute analysis of the 2014 U.S. census data. That's about 31 percent of the undocumented population."

That 3.4 million number is 12 years lagging.

The home-made advantages Latinos have primarily originate from continued adoption of traditional values - marriage and being Catholic. Two incomes > one. Families are also often multi generational, parents, children, aunt living together, construct and rent out an in-law unit, etc. Central Valley homes, rural homes were cheap for decades. Latinos are pushing African Americans out of Los Angeles, Oakland, etc.

A decent amount of Latinos I work with also own property in Mexico, some for family, others investments, others future plans to retire in Mexico. Siblings or relatives rent or manage said properties. Allegedly lots of Tijuana residents pass into and through San Diego daily / weekly to work in the USA

I don't have any 'proof' at hand, but it seems abundantly clear that entrepreneurial Latinos have tens of thousands of businesses that often generate income and wealth.

Please, no more negative low-ball assumptions on Latinos. You're welcome. Class dismissed.

lets go back to the start of this. The presumption movie made was that by removing the worst of the worst homeowners that we would solve the home affordability gap. That's what he was selling. I don't buy it. We already went thru that. It morphed into "why Latinos are successful in America" sidebar ostensibly to drive home his pet peeve of some sort.

The Trump "cheerleaders" had their pom-poms out BIGLY last week yapping about how our Commerce Secretary saying that we had moved ahead of JAPAN in steel production.

Missing from their "analysis" was the FACT that Japan has had persistent labor shortages in the steel industry.

As usual, Trumper's never provide any context.
And repeatedly "cheerlead" tweets that they don't even fully comprehend.

Our colleagues here don't seem to be very good when it comes to comparing data.

In fact, just yesterday someone was claiming that I post 6.5x a day compared to BearlySane who posts 1.7x per day.
Of course, they didn't bother to provide any context.

Steel and aluminum plants don't just come online overnight.

"New steel mills in the USA are heavily focused on sustainability and electric arc furnace (EAF) technology to produce "green steel." Major projects include U.S. Steel's Big River Steel Works in Arkansas, Nucor's $4 billion sheet mill in West Virginia (opening 2027), Pacific Steel's zero-carbon mill in California [broke ground 2015], and Hyundai Steel's $5.8 billion Louisiana plant."

"Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) and Century Aluminum are partnering to build the first new U.S. primary aluminum smelter since 1980 in Inola, Oklahoma. Announced in early 2026, this $4 billion, 750,000-tonne-per-year facility will more than double current U.S. production, with construction beginning in late 2026."

Oski was the poster who pointed out the metrics yesterday.
He found them "most interesting".

MELANIA: The Documentary - Page 2 | Bear Insider

I found his claim highly "flawed" and without context.

I am more than happy to provide context to help educate Oski on the posting data.
It only took a few minutes.

He ignored the fact that although BearlySane first became a member in July of 2020, he didn't start posting in OT until late September of 2025. Hence his low posting average of just 1.7x per day.

Clearly, he's been on a tear here since Charlie Kirk died last Fall.
In January alone, he averaged 49 posts per day.

That was 3x my daily posting avg for the month.

Hope this helps provide context for our mascot.
Thanks.

Oil is a fungible commodity, if the Indians buy Venezuelan oil instead of Russian oil, Venezuela's former client (China) will buy Russian oil instead. Ironically the Russians would get more for that oil than what they were getting from India due to lower transport cost and no discount. The Russians have been selling India oil below market price because of sanctions.
