What was removed was original reporting that Trump has agreed to Iran's 10 point plan.

According to Trump, Iran's 10 point plan is good enough to begin negotiations. Two different things but Trump is negotiating from weakness.

Lebanon is included, because it is one of the 10 Iranian conditions, and the Israelis are pulling another Gaza there which the Iranians won't allow. Good on Iran. Lebanon is an old colony of France with longstanding cultural and religious/Christian ties. Iran is stepping up because France and other western countries have been incredibly passive and meek towards Israel, which fresh off their genocide in Gaza is in the process of ethnically cleansing and colonizing Lebanon.
